TMZ reported that production on the show had “hit an unexpected pause” on March 15 due to what they described as a a “blowup” between Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen.
News then broke in People that Taylor and Dakota were involved in an open “domestic assault investigation” with allegations “made in both directions.” An insider told People that “The girls are very overwhelmed. They all banded together and they don’t want to come back right now. They were just getting tired of Taylor, honestly. […] They kind of all decided, as a unit, that they’re taking the production pause, that they don’t want to film right now. I don’t think they care about her really right now. They’re just kind of like, ‘We’re done for right now.'”
As for when filming will start back up, Variety reports that the Mormon Wives production pause is “temporary” and that it “appears likely that production will resume soon without a major impact on the season’s release timeline. The incident did not occur while cameras were rolling.”
As for The Bachelorette, it appears to be on schedule to premiere March 22, despite a sponsor pulling out.
