It’s been 84 years, but Elle Fanning finally landed her very first Academy Award nomination for Sentimental Value, and she’s walking the red carpet to collect her flowers (proverbial and hopefully otherwise, someone give her flowers!!!). The Oscars is obviously one of the bigger red carpets of awards season, and Elle was not messing coming to play. The actor arrived wearing a wintery white ballgown covered in crystal embellishments, which she paired with—what else?—diamonds.

Forever a Disney princess. We’ve been covering the Sentimental Value star and Best Supporting Actress nominee’s style literally since she was a little girl and we always wondered if and when she’d finally abandon the princess styles she’s been sporting for her whole career. And while we always prefer when she opts to stay away from pale colors and white, this fantasy gown looks so pretty on her that we don’t blame her for working that princess look forever. She was born for these kinds of dresses.

FYI, her glow was thanks to celeb esthetician Louise Deschamps, who used Pure Daily Care’s NuDerma High Frequency Wand to prep her skin!

Elle talked to the Hollywood Reporter, saying she slept through the announcement and woke to her phone blowing up. “I couldn’t compute. I go out bleary-eyed, and I’m like, ‘Mom! Dakota! Wake up. I think I got it. I think I got it,’” she said. “I looked like a crazed zombie who was walking in circles saying, ‘Is this real?’”

She also gushed about the moment on Instagram, writing, “IS THIS REAL!?!?!?! IS THIS A DREAM!?!?!?! I can’t catch my breath. I am in absolute shock. What an honor to have my first Academy Award nomination be for a film that acknowledges the power of moviemaking and family! My Mom, Grandma, Sister, and Aunt were here with me this morning to scream and hug and cry. Thank you thank you thank you. To be amongst the beautiful women in this category is truly overwhelming. I was equally overjoyed to see our entire ‘Sentimental Value’ family recognized!!!!!! The gorgeous Stellan, Inga, and Renate, I will forever be in awe of you!!!!! Joachim Trier, Eskil Vogt, our editor Olivier Bugge Coutté, Maria, Andrea, Lars, our Neon team, EVERYONE INVOLVED—cheers to you all! Or as you say in Norway, Skål!!!!!!!! I am filled with so much love. The whole house got nominated!!!”
